PRODUCT
CODE: PC/PC 041
Single conductors are carefully selected and matched to meet
or exceed ANSI MC 96.1-1982 tolerances
Each conductor
is insulated with 15 mils nominal, 221°F (105°C) high dielectric
FR PVC compound to insure insulation integrity.
Matched pairs
are twisted and shielded with a polyester backed aluminum shield and
a tinned copper drain wire to achieve maximum reduction of electromagnetic
interference.
The
shielded pairs are cabled and a polyester backed aluminum shield with
a tinned copper drain is helically applied overall to further reduce
electrostatic noise. The shield overlaps approximately 25% to assure
continual coverage during flexing.
This
style includes an insulated communication wire to transmit telephone
or other signals during installation or service.
A
rugged 221°F(105°C) FR PVC jacket is applied over all for excellent
resistance to acids, alkalis, weather, moisture, oils, and mechanical
abrasion.
When
multi-pair constructions are purchased, the individual pairs are numbered
for easy hookup.
The
entire construction is color coded according to ANSI MC 96.1-1982 to
aid in quick identification of both polarity and calibration.
A
nylon ripcord is included for easy jacket stripping.

| NOTE: |
Percent
limits apply directly to temperature in °C units, but for °F equivalents
are applied to the numbers of °F above or below the ice point (+32°F).
(i.e. Limit (°F) = (Temp. °F-32°F) x Percentage) |
 |
Thermocouple
wire cannot be expected to meet the limits of error at temperatures
below the ice point unless specified at time of purchase. |

| Tolerances: |
Due to
allowances in manufacturing processes for wire, cable and similar products,
PMC-A Division of R-SCC reserves the right to ship variation of ±
10% from the quantity of such goods ordered. Physical tolerances shown
are nominal. Shipping weights are an average of all types of conductors
and are listed for estimation only. These weights can vary substantially
due to different types of spools, reels and/or conductors.
The material
contained in the document is presented in good faith and believed to
be reliable and accurate. However, because testing conditions may vary
