CODE: TEFZEL® Insulated Singles and Twisted Pairs
PMC A Division of R-SCC through its Albert H. Surprenant division, over
the past twenty plus years has earned the reputation as one of the world’s
leading manufacturers of Tefzel® insulated singles and twisted pairs.
A typical application is in wire wrapping. PMC is unique in the wire
industry as the only wire and cable manufacturer with an entire facility
dedicated to the production of this line of products.
Wire wrapping - making solderless connections of wires to terminals
- remains the preferred method for both automatic and semi-automatic
termination in the wiring of computer backpanels. Tefzel offers superior
mechanical properties, excellent chemical resistance, a melting point
in excess of 500°F (260°C), and a nearly unvarying dielectric
constant of 2.6 with changing frequencies and temperature, making Tefzel
insulated wire wrap products a popular choice in the industry.
These insulated wires are available in gauge sizes 20-32, in single
conductor or twisted pair constructions, and may be ordered to a variety
of UL or CSA listings, as well as conforming to Mil-W-81822/13. For

Shipments
will be invoiced at PMC's prices in effect at time of shipment. Quotations
are given with an escalation clause and prices, terms, and conditions
are subject to change without prior notice. PMC will however, make every

10% from the quantity of such goods ordered. Physical tolerances shown
are nominal. Shipping weights are an average of all types of conductors
and are listed for estimation only. These weights can vary substantially
due to different types of spools, reels and/or conductors.
